How does Picwing Prints work?

Upload photos or simply email them to your own @picwing.com email account, and we’ll automatically print and mail them to whomever you want 2 times a month. It’s a simple and hassle-free way of turning your photos into prints and sharing them with your friends and family.
You have 2 options to pay:
1) Monthly printing plan: You’ll be allowed to email/upload 15 photos every month. They'll be printed and shipped to each of your recipients. The monthly fee includes the cost of all your printing and shipping.
2) Pay-As-You-Go: You’ll be allowed to email/upload as many or as little photos every month. They'll also be printed and shipped to each of your recipients. Pay only for each photo you print and ship.
Take a photo using your iPhone of your daughter on a Sunday afternoon in the park. Email that photo to your @picwing.com address, and feel good knowing that your grandma will receive that photo in the mail soon!

What are the benefits over other photo printing services, like Shutterfly?

Getting digital photos printed through other websites is such a big pain! You have to copy the photos onto your computer, upload them to the website, and then enter your credit card and mailing information every time you want to print something.
Picwing’s primary benefit can be summed up in one word: Convenience. Just email your photos to us and forget about the rest! If you can email from your camera phone, you don’t even need to be in front of a computer to print photos.

What if someone I don’t know sends a photo to my Picwing email address? Is this secure?

We only allow people you specify to send photos to your Picwing account. We’ll reject any emails we get from anyone else. We also have technology that prevents "email spoofing", so any attempt to forge an email to pretend it’s from you will fail.

What kind of prints will I receive?

We print on high quality Kodak 4x6 glossy paper. Our Pro Services lab produces high quality prints with sharp colors. Every day we calibrate and balance our printers so you receive consistent and flawless prints.

Can I change my recipients?

Yes! You may change your recipients at any time, so long as you don't exceed the allowed number of recipients for your plan. If you do, you'll have to remove a recipient or upgrade your plan.

When will my recipients get my prints?

It depends on your plan. If your monthly plan mails out prints 2x/month, your photos will get processed about every 15 days.
If your plan mails out prints 1x/month, your photos will get processed about every 30 days.

Can I use Picwing for my club, group or organization?

Yes! Contact us at sales@picwing.com if you have any specific questions about this, or would like to setup a customized plan for your group or family.

How much does it cost?

Our Monthly plans start at $4.95 / month, and include 15 photos/month to 1 recipient.
Our Pay-As-You-Go plans start at $0.19/print and $2.45/shipment.

What if I go over my monthly plan?

That's ok! For each photo you go over on your monthly plan, we'll just charge you $0.19 per recipient in your plan.

On pay-as-you-go plans, what if I don't send any pictures. Will you still charge me?

No. If you don't send any pictures to be printed, we will never charge you. There is no minimum account maintenance requirement.

Do I have to pay for shipping on monthly plans?

No. All fees, including shipping, are included in your monthly plan.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. If you have a relative or friend in another country that you'd like to mail photos to, we can ship internationally. Currently, we ship to USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, China, Japan, South Korea, and India.

Can we pay for Picwing in advance?

If you would rather pay for several months or a year of service in bulk, please contact us at sales@picwing.com.

How do I cancel my account? Can I cancel at any time?

You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time through your Picwing account. No questions asked! Because you are charged month to month, you won't be charged for any months you didn't use.

Why are my photos cropped very slightly?

We print our photos on 4x6 paper, which means that the width of your photos must be 1.5 longer than the height. If the dimensions of the photo that you submitted are a little different, then we may crop the photo slightly to make it fit.
